The design was taken right from the iconic Batman Issue 497 comic cover, where Bane actually broke Batman's back! If you were reading comics in the early 90's, this was a big deal...maybe even bigger than the fall of the Soviet Union or the release of the Super Nintendo!
This Gi is issue # 16 in our line of officially licensed, limited edition BJJ gis.
The jacket is made of a 520 GSM pearl weave cotton which is light enough to compete in, and yet tough enough to take some serious abuse on the mats.
The pants are made of a very durable 280 gram double twill cotton material that's still incredibly comfortable. Ultra-comfortable, yet super durable.
The interior liner is made of a mesh material that wicks moisture from your body into your Gi.
A thick, printed foam-core drawstring holds the pants up, so all you have to focus on is Jits. Reinforced belt loops keep everything neatly in place.
The gi is pre-shrunk, but please remember that it will still shrink slightly if you wash it in hot and throw it in the dryer...not recommended unless you need to as this will not help prolong the life of your gi.
