Oroku Saki, better known to the world as "The Shredder", is the archenemy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and has been a constant thorn in their side since his introduction in TMNT comics # 1 back in 1984. He is the leader of the criminal organization known as the Foot Clan, and the younger brother of Oroku Nagi who had been killed by Splinter's ninja master way back in the day. Easy to understand why he's so miffed at Splinter and his Turtle apprentices!
